Aspire to become a medical professional who supports the brilliance of human life
Goto College, Chairman
The fact that a society with a lot of elderly people needs to be a society of peace and sufficient economic resources is rarely covered in the news and sometimes perceived as a rather negative image, but, I think we must not forget that today’s social structure is close to the ideal people have been aiming for since the late 1940s early 1950s.
Nevertheless, in reality there are many difficult issues that need to be solved. The national license (approved by the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare, MHLW) nurse, physiotherapist, acupuncturist, moxibustion therapist and anma-massage-shiatsu therapist, that you have chosen to acquire, is a highly valued qualification that perfectly matches the needs of today’s society.
And, there are many more options you have, like obtaining further qualifications in the welfare sector, becoming a teacher for the next generation of students or pursuing studies in one of our partner universities in China, America or Germany to gain a more global view.
We want to offer you a learning environment in accordance with the Goto College’s founding spirit “support the brilliance of human life” and “medical professionals who think and are thoughtful” which enables you to improve yourself, enhance your skills and fulfill your dreams. Your possibilities are without limits.
Let’s go for it together!

Founding Spirit and Education Philosophy
The Skills we are learning are Art, Science and a Profession
Based on the Goto College’s founding spirit and education philosophy
“To train health care professionals to think, and also be thoughtful“
we value the individuality of each student, foster an attitude of being considerate of others and being there for the people who need help. We train our students to be able to practice medicine with a co-creative mind and to always approach issues from multiple perspectives in a reflective manner.
In addition we train our students to respect life and personality, improve insight toward themselves and their understanding of others and to develop the ability to practice creative medicine on the basis of decision-making through reasoning.
Furthermore we train our students to become health care professionals who, while focusing on health preservation, medical care, welfare and society as a whole, not only strengthen their expertise but also contribute to its further development.
